Our solutions include Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for inspection of power lines and electricity towers and Off-grid Power Solutions for areas with frequent power outages or lack of electricity.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

For the Power and Energy sector the UAV can be very useful with the inspection of the electricity towers and the power line cables. It can fly around the towers and the lines in search of defects across the structure and provide real-time information to the operator. The UAV can be remotely controlled or fly automatically using proprietary navigation software. Most of the time, the operator will set the flight plan, zone of control and mission duration and activates the automatic function. The system and the specialized software application are user friendly, which allows operation without the need for professional license.The platform is made of ultra-light materials (carbon fiber, aluminum etc.) and achieves flight time of up to 60 minutes depending on the configuration and payload where the recommended payload up to 5kg.

Off-grid Power Solutions

Many countries across the globe have frequent power outages or in distant areas do not have electricity at all. Atlantic offers innovative power management solution where different power sources can be connected:

  • PV strings;
  • Wind;
  • Electrical grid;
  • Diesel genset;

All of them can be controlled simultaneously and prioritized according to the application and the customer's requirements.

The way the system works is that it can simultaneously control different power sources and battery storage. Uninterrupted output power through intelligent control of various energy sources: PV, wind, diesel genset and grid (if available). A battery is used to store energy for later use at night time, for peak shaving during day time or to provide resilient energy to the load during grid outages. Advanced diesel genset control guarantees maximum OPEX reduction.
